Data Centre
Servers are securely housed in state of the art data centres with protection
from theft and fire. For security, the data centre has an unassuming exterior so
you'd never guess what was inside - and that helps keep everything safe. Access
is limited to essential personnel. A strong perimeter is maintained with strict
access control. Security staff are on-site 24/7 and careful records of who is
allowed into the server area are maintained. All hardware is fully protected
from fire, floods and natural disasters. In normal operation, power is drawn
from the power grid but the data centre operates uninterruptible supplies and
has on-site generators in case the external supply fails. The servers are
directly connected to Cisco-based LANs. Everything is safe behind a secure
firewall with multiple layers of protection. Backups are taken regularly and the
data stored off site.
Security
Each nFlowLive customer has their own dedicated port protected with Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) together
with a separate database and audio data storage area. Every customer can be
completely assured that their data is kept completely secure from any other
customer ensuring there is absolutely no chance of it being compromised.
